32 Points Manning, LLC is an experienced Maritime Recruiting Agency offering staffing and direct placement with a unique business model. We service the domestic United States and worldwide waters, specializing in crewing U.S. Flagged vessels. We work offshore, inland and shoreside, in all sectors. We do not charge Mariners fees. And we have a way of doing business with our client companies that is by far the most cost-efficient and high quality option for crew in the business, simple, straight-forward, honest and transparent. We also can manage vessel deliveries offer consulting to include project management and shipyard periods, and government contracts. We vet our mariners as well as our client companies. Company History
I spent many years debating the ethics of POA contracts, charging mariners insanely high fees for job placement, and the evolving world of recruiting mariners without giving them much information. I also became friends with Vessel Owners who revealed the realities of running a business as a vessel owner, and crewing a vessel with few options other than costly contracts for crew, huge buyouts, a culture of mariners who were allowed to burn one company and quickly moved to another. The recruiting world needed a change, but so did my life. I had hit bottom and started to dig on a personal level. Then, I changed direction. With nothing left but a son who depended on me, very little money, and a new Parkinson's diagnosis. I built a business with a unique business model in mind on a foundation of transparency and honesty that would earn little more than reputation. Years later, 32 Points Manning has established a process and a list of client companies in nearly every sector and all waters of the world. Our growth is slow and deliberate because we are fair and cost-efficient. We started by only crewing Oil & Gas, but now we are firmly established in the alternate energies, research, survey and science, Tug & barge, shipping, The U.S. Government, Fishing, and even yachts for celebrity clients who need privacy. We assist Union and Non-union companies with the blessing of all involved. After learning a few hard to swallow business lessons, I set about gathering the most talented staff in the business. We created a family at 32 Points Manning, and it shows in our work and success and we continue to grow. We specialize in crewing U.S. Flagged vessels with all manner of needs. We manage vessel deliveries and offer consulting to include project management and shipyard periods as well as government contracts.

When we offer Direct Placement, the mariners gain access to the full benefits of the client company. When we offer staffing on government contracts, permanent or long term situations we have a comprehensive benefits package that is among the very best in the business to include fringe benefits. When we have short duration staffing contracts, giving the mariner a chance to 1099 independent contract, there are no benefits as all monies are allocated into the hourly or day rate. The point is this: We are extremely fair to everyone. We don't corner boat companies with markups or outrageous rates. We don't hide profits by underpaying mariners. Our recruiters have a generous payout structure and a vested interest in the company. as we see a vision in which all can prosper. We do not lie to our mariners and we get the best deal possible for them.
