Position Overview

Pawa IT is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Technical Product Manager- AI Products to drive the growth of our AI and Machine Learning (AI/ML) product offerings. This is a hands-on role for a leader with a deep understanding of software development principles and a passion for building intelligent, data-driven products.

The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for managing a team of software engineers in the development and enhancement of our existing AI solutions, while also leading the rapid prototyping and Proof of Concept (PoC) development for new AI-powered products. The ideal candidate will possess significant software engineering experience, a strong technical understanding of a range of AI/ML technologies (such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and predictive analytics), exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of bringing innovative products to market. This role requires a hands-on approach, including the ability to review code, manage technical conflicts, and contribute directly to product development.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Development (50%)

• Lead the ongoing development and enhancement of existing AI-powered solutions.
• Drive rapid prototyping and PoC development for new AI products, leveraging technologies like Computer Vision (e.g., for data extraction), NLP, and predictive modeling.
• Provide technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and make key architectural decisions to ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Resolve technical conflicts, champion best practices, and maintain high engineering standards.
• Contribute directly to development using Python and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.

Core Product Management (30%)

• Define and execute a cohesive product strategy and roadmap for the entire AI/ML product portfolio.
• Translate customer needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
• Own the product lifecycle from ideation and validation through to launch, iteration, and end-of-life.

Team & Stakeholder Management (20%)

• Lead and mentor a team of talented software engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including design, marketing, and sales to ensure successful product delivery and go-to-market execution.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of product management experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience with strong Python proficiency.
• Experience with the product management lifecycle for mobile applications
• Demonstrated track record of leading technical teams and managing product roadmaps from concept to completion.
• Experience with FastAPI, React/Vue/Angular, and modern web technologies
• Experience with AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and LLMs (e.g., NLP, Computer Vision, predictive modeling).
• Knowledge of Docker, microservices, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architectures- Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is an added advantage.

2. Step 2: Technical & Product Interview: If your assessment meets our standards, you will be invited to a technical interview with the Hiring Manager and potential peers from the engineering team. This session will be a deep dive into your assessment submission, your past experience, and your approach to solving technical and product challenges.
3. Step 3: Culture & Vision Interview: The final stage is a conversation with a member of our executive leadership team. This interview focuses on your career aspirations, your alignment with our company values, and your potential to contribute to Pawa IT's long-term vision.
