Staff members within the Division of Student Affairs are expected to positively contribute to our mission of supporting students in the co-curricular environment and provide an experience that inspires students academically, intellectually, personally, and emotionally.
The Scholar Support Coordinator provides wraparound support to students in programmatic scholarship programs within Student Affairs at UNC. The Scholar Support Coordinator will primarily provide direct service to Reisher Scholars (approximately 125 students), and also work with Daniels Scholars, Presidents Leadership Program participants, and other scholars and leaders. The Scholar Support Coordinator will facilitate a sense of belonging through individual meetings with scholars, program celebrations, cohort community building, and programming that supports leadership development, community building and service, professional development opportunities, career readiness skills, and experiential learning.
The Reisher Scholars Program is one of the premier scholarship programs in Colorado. The Reisher Family established The Denver Foundation and Reisher Scholarship in 2001 to support high-achieving, low-income students midway (transfer or continuing) through their college career with the financial means to complete their undergraduate degree on-time and with little to no educational debt. The Reisher Scholars Program has continued to expand throughout the state and UNC’s program is one of the flagship programs that is expected to grow to a total of 125 scholars in the 2025 26 academic year.
