Description

The Plant Performance Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence, maintenance efficiency, and continuous improvement across multiple ready mix concrete plant locations. The role focuses on identifying, developing, and implementing process improvements that enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. This individual will work as a partner to production, quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement and ensure best practices are consistently applied.

Responsible for:

• Analyze current production and delivery processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Lead initiatives for batch plants, conveyors, mixers, and other support equipment targeted toward continuous improvement of quality and on-time delivery.
• Key focus areas of on time delivery and quality products could include:
  • Serve as the go-to resource for technical training and operational guidance for ready mix drivers, batch personnel, and utility workers.
  • Develop and monitor SOPs
  • Identify and recommend upgrades or replacements for critical plant systems and components.
  • Monitor maintenance backlogs and drive timely resolution.
  • Provide troubleshooting and diagnostics of equipment and component failures at plants.
• Make routine site visits to support plant operators and identify operational concerns.
• Partner with key stakeholders in operations, QC, and central dispatch to identify and implement best practices.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Extended work hours
• Working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Able to safely drive a vehicle for long periods of time.
