What you will do:

Develop and Maintain Advanced Operations Analytics

• Measure and mature understanding of operational impacts (-/+) towards asset performance and strategy, including analysis-based recommendations for improvement to Senior and Executive Management.
• Combine an advanced understanding of financial and asset performance fundamentals and their interdependence, considering commercial constructs to both maximize financial performance and minimize asset reliability or regulatory risk.

Operational Risk

• Work closely with Pipeline Integrity Asset Risk Team and Risk Governance to impart their unbiased principles on Operations Protection Programs and associated budgetary requirements. (Operate & Maintain, Damage Prevention, Emergency Management).

Investigation of Medium/High Severity Operational Events

• Manage and coordinate incident investigations and workflows as defined in the Incident Investigation Process. Including participation as the Lead Investigator as required (for complex events).

Who you are:

• Related university degree (Engineering, Business, Mathematics, or Statistics) and seven-plus years' experience OR nine-plus years of previous field operations experience OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience. Your experience is required in two or more of the following areas: Industrial Risk Management, Industrial Asset Management, Midstream Pipeline Operations, Process Engineering.
• Highly proficient in data analysis tools, techniques and visualization platforms.
• Robust critical thinking skills related to technical problems with ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational, time management and planning skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical topics.
• Knowledge of midstream Integrated Management System Frameworks and Programs.

Working Conditions:

• Office environment.
• Less than 10% travel to field locations and conferences within Canada and the United States; valid passport is required.
