Position Summary:

We're looking for a passionate Lead Quality Engineer with strong communication skills, knowledge, and experience in BFS Products to perform automation, performance testing quality engineering activities and focus on the delivery of valuable outcomes and ensures alignment to client and customer needs

Mandatory Skills:

• >5 years' experience working with API Automation tools such as RestAssured, Postman
• > 5 years' experience with automation tool Selenium, Playwright, TOSCA and qTest
• >3 years' experience working with BFS Products like Temenos T24, Finacle, TAP, SIBS
• Experience working with AWS cloud-based and genAI solutions
• Experience with agile project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence, Azure DevOps or HP ALM
• Experience with scripting cases in BDD/TDD/Gherkin
• Experience with mainframe testing
• Expertise in performance/SVT test tooling like LoadRunner and K6, performance engineering, component-based performance testing and end-to-end performance testing
• Strong technical skills in one or more of CI/CD, SQL, middleware, AWS, GCP and/or messaging systems
• Key metrics include response time, throughput, and error rates. Understanding these metrics helps in identifying performance bottlenecks and optimizing system performance
• Good grasp of system architecture, including hardware, network, and software components, is necessary to diagnose and resolve performance issues
• Experience with banking channels like - IVR, Branch Teller, Mobile Banking, ATM and Electronic Banking Services
• Experience with retail, corporate and wealth management domain
• Experience in loans and collateral management, credit management systems and loan originating systems
• Experience in core banking

Duties and Responsibilities:

• 5+ years' Test Lead experience and/or 5+ years' experience in software engineering/technical leadership

• Understand, Analyze and Consult Business Requirements, track changes and maintenance of Business Requirements including identifying the limitations of the product and customizations viable in line with the needs
• Ensuring all components provide quality and maintaining compliance with client processes and governing standards
• Lead different modules and interfaces with proven ability to lead and motivate teams to maximize productivity
• Perform quality engineering in banking domain and systems including understanding of the entire client application landscape
• Perform file based and API Testing
• Develop and execute Selenium/TOSCA Automation Scripts
• Review and understand the software system specifications to identify performance requirements.
• Create performance test cases and scripts that cover a variety of scenarios to simulate real-world usage.
• Conduct performance testing to assess system reliability, capacity, and scalability.
• Monitor system performance during tests and analyse the results to identify bottlenecks and performance issues.
• Work closely with developers to ensure performance standards are met and to implement necessary improvements.
• Prepare detailed reports on performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders using confluence.
• Identify potential bottlenecks in the system and suggest improvements to enhance performance.
• Develop and execute APIs
• Execute SQL queries based on the requirements and fetch the data from databases
• Review QA scenarios, cases prepared by team members' corresponding user stories and take to business review
• Prepare scripts for GUI, Business Functionality Testing, System Integration, User Acceptance, including Regression testing for Web and Mobile Applications
• Work in AGILE methodology project and part of scrum calls on daily basis. As a lead, explaining the defects & issues in scrum call to onsite with in detail
• Define and document the quality engineering approach and overarching strategy across multiple applications

Salary Range: >100,000
