Position Summary:
This job is responsible for providing leadership, technical direction and oversight to a team delivering technology solutions. Key responsibilities of the job are to provide oversight of the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex computer programs, align technical solutions to business objectives, and ensure that coding practices/quality comply with software development standards. Job expectations include conducting multiple software implementations and applying both depth and breadth in knowledge of several technical competencies.
Global Financial Crimes division that supports application development for investigator web-based tools is in search of a talented Java Full Stack Feature Lead.
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops and is accountable for feature delivery
- Applies enterprise standards for solution design, coding and quality
- Ensures solution meets product acceptance criteria with minimal technical debt
- Guides the team on work breakdown and execution
- Works with the Product Owner to ensure that product backlog/requirements are healthy, with clear acceptance criteria
- Plays a team lead role (as an individual contributor) and mentors the team
- Guides team members with skills and practices (planning and estimation, peer reviews, and other engineering practices)
- Works as a Feature Lead and has a good understanding of the application manager responsibilities to manage the development efforts along with oversight and accountability for all the activities around application management and governance
- As an App Manager own the responsibility of managing a critical compliance application , working closely with compliance and operations on Regulatory Requirements to provide optimal solutions
- Perform Functional and technical impact analysis of clients requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience of minimum 10-12 years of work experience in the capacity of an Senior developer
- 10 - 15 years' full stack experience with Java with Strong core java skills including multi-threading, collections API, JDBC and knowledge of Java profiling tools
- Spring framework, Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring Test Framework, Spring RESTful services, Transaction Management, Spring Annotations
- Experience with front end development frameworks like Angular, React
- Perform overall solution design and creation of design specifications to implement changes
- Experience managing application governance and compliance requirements
- Perform Functional and technical impact analysis of potential changes to the clients requirements
- Support other developers; providing mentoring, technical assistance, troubleshooting and alternative development solutions
- Experience working with relational database like Oracle 19c , Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of performance tuning data intensive applications
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with large scale technology projects
- Background in Teradata and shell scripts
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Working experience in Agile methodology and JIRA
