Job DescriptionAs a Customer Project Manager at Nokia, you will be at the forefront of driving project success, ensuring the seamless delivery of our cutting-edge cloud-native software and services to communication service providers and enterprise customers. You will lead a dynamic, inclusive team dedicated to pushing boundaries and transforming challenges into opportunities. Collaborating closely with sales, delivery, and care teams, you'll play a pivotal role in managing customer relationships, aligning project objectives with contractual commitments, and driving continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate all aspects of customer projects, ensuring alignment with Nokia's operational standards and methodologies.
- Manage project delivery, maintaining oversight of cost, scope, schedule, and quality (CSSQ) to meet customer contract obligations.
- Act as the primary customer interface, addressing concerns, managing expectations, and fostering strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Plan and adapt project schedules, ensuring proactive change management and consistent communication with stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance and profitability forecasts, identifying opportunities for project expansion and contract renewal.
- Facilitate successful handovers between project phases, ensuring smooth transitions from sales to execution and delivery to care.
- Implement risk management strategies, maintaining an up-to-date project status in all relevant tools and repositories.
- Lead the project team while occasionally taking on line management responsibilities, ensuring clear direction and fostering a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
You have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in Telecom or IT, with a focus on external end-customer delivery in the Telco Operator domain
- Experience managing profit and loss for complex projects
- Delivered cloud projects with a solid understanding of waterfall and Agile methodologies, as well as DevOps solutions
- Native level in Japanese and business level in English
- Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, PgMP, Prince2)
It would be nice if you also had:
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Telecom projects from an end-to-end perspective
- Strong knowledge of 5G Core, IMS, VoLTE architecture, and SDM
- Experience in customer requirements analysis, project planning, and solution design
- Telecom fixed/landline experience
